One of the greatest recreation activities is travel. The ability to explore the world and see new sights has become a passion for countless people throughout the world. This article is meant to provide you with travel tips and advice to help you chose the right destination and make the most of your experience.

When going on a trip if you choose to take valuables along, it might be wise to choose a hotel that offers you an in room safe. This ensures that while you are out having fun something important to you doesn’t get lost.

If you want to optimize the quality of the food that you eat on the plane, bring hot sauce with you. Most of the meals are not going to have a lot of spice and may be dry, as this additive will help to inject flavor into your meal.

Do not forget to take a camera with you. Find one that is very slim and lightweight so you can take it with you anywhere during your trip. A simple point and shoot camera is all that you really need to capture all of the memories you will make during your vacation.

Carry a mini notebook with you wherever you go. It is much easier to write the name of your destination and have someone understand you, than it is to make wild gestures while trying to say a difficult town name. Carry the notebook and write in it when you feel necessary. You will be much better understood.

Remote areas are often among the most interesting of possible travel destinations. Just make sure you take necessities like your prescription medicines with you. One way of looking at it is that if something isn’t available for sale where you are then you probably didn’t need it anyway! Items like medicines, however, can be indispensable so don’t leave having them to chance.

When traveling by airplane it is crucial to arrive early. You will have to find a place to park, wait in long lines at security checkpoints, and there’s always the possibility that the airline oversold the flight. When using the airlines, always give your self lots of extra time.

To help relive stress, it is important to take a vacation from work. Going on an annual vacation will give you something to work hard for and it will give you a light at the end of the tunnel. It is important to reward yourself and there is no better reward than a vacation!

If you do not take care of your body your skin will never look its best. A balanced diet with plenty of nutritious foods will allow you to feel great and look fantastic. You should eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. Eat good so you can feel great.

India

In countries that you travel to, be aware of the cultural view of how questions are answered. In some places, especially India and Asia, it can be considered very rude to tell someone that you don’t know the answer to their question. Others may simply answer “yes” to any question asked in English. Pay attention to doubtful body language.

Travel is a fantastic and worthwhile activity. Not only are you able to see and experience new sights and cultures, you broaden your viewpoint on the world in general. By applying the tips in this article you will help ensure that you get the best deals for your travel budget and the best experiences at your travel destination.

Cambodia killing fields

by admin on August 17, 2009

Yesterday I visited the killing fields in Cambodia.
I also paid a visit to the genocide museum in Phenom Penn.
After reading all about Pol Pot and the regime of terror he created during the 1970′s I could not help thinking how very little things have changed world wide.
Apparently most countries and businesses are still experiencing recession and I have to ask this question, does it all boil down to power and greed? Naturally comparing the genocide that took place here in cambodia to what goes on in business is ridiculous however power and greed was a motivatng factor and power and greed is certainly a factor in many businesses.
I have seen many good business people lose their livelyhood through failing partnerships in what were great businesses but just badly constructed in the beginning.
There were very similar circumstances in my first business venture when I started at a young age.
All I wanted from a kid was to own my own company yet fear kept me back from starting a company on my own.
Unfortunately I took in a partner and although a formal business agreement was in place, many important aspects were left out.
Trust was important to me and I always believed most good people made business with a handshake.
Luckily for me our business went well for many years and I was able to secure a livelyhood that I am very grateful for but in the end power and greed took over. The partnership split up for the simple reason that these basic business rules were overlooked in the beginning.
My business tip of the day is if you are thinking of entering into a business partnership with anyone, first try and figure a way to do it on your own.
If that fails make certain you make a watertight agreement on what each partner roles will be.

Avoiding this most simple rule is a sure fire way to disaster.
