Gray Bartlett
New Zealand’s number one guitarist and iconic Kiwi is Gray Bartlett MBE. Gray has just recently released his latest album Private Conversations and this album is a MUST buy. Hank Marvin has reviewed the album and has given it his thumbs up. Gray is currently touring New Zealand with a raft of New Zealand talent and has concerts lined up in all of the main centers around the country.
The show has had rave reviews as well as the CD and it is well worth getting off your butt and making the effort to support Gray. Here is a personal friend whom I first met in London 1968 and we done many things together since. Gray Bartlett is the person who introduced me to Hank Marvin back in 2013 and little did I know then how that introduction would change my life. Not only did I meet Hank but also struck up a great friendship with Nunzio Mondia, a very talented musician working and managing Hank Marvin Gypsy Jazz.
The group first came to New Zealand in 2013 on tour and again in 2015. Gray Bartlett has done wonders for the music industry in New Zealand, he has nurtured and assisted many young artists to reach extraordinary success, he has provided many kiwi guitar enthusiasts with inspiration and sold many albums of his own over many years. There is a super rang of talented artists in New Zealand and many who have done very well offshore, both in Australia and in the United Kingdom.
worked in London for six months during 1968 and appeared at the London Palladium near Piccadilly. Gray also achieved an enormous amount of success in Tokyo Japan where still to this day he has a large fan base who still follow his current achievements.
